AVA TYSON

Ava started playing tee-ball at The Kardinya Red Sox (then Melville Districts Teeball Club) in the 2011/2012 season. She represented Kardinya at State Champs for several seasons and started her baseball career playing Little League at the Red Sox.

 

Ava was invited to Australian Youth Women's Invitational in 2021 and 2022.

 

She was selected in the Western Australian U16 State Team in 2023, and the Western Australian Women's State Team in 2024 where she won the "Spirit of the Game Award" for Western Australia.

 

She was signed by the Adelaide Giants in 2024 to play in The Australian Women's Baseball Showcase.

JAYDEN HINCHLIFFE

Jayden played both tee-ball and little league baseball with Kardinya. 

Since then Jayden has played in many charter baseball tournaments, once representing WA at a national level and making the All Star team. 

Jayden chose to focus on his softball, and has since represented WA in U18 & U19 age groups. 

He has been selected for the WA schoolboys on three occasions, and his fourth time will be in 2024 as team captain. In 2023 he was selected as an “All Australian” in the school boys team.

EBONY HINCHLIFFE

Ebony played both tee-ball and softball with Kardinya. 

Ebony has played multiple charter baseball tournaments, and was selected in the U16 girls Perth Heat side, and again for the open women’s Heat team as a 17 year old. 

Friendships drew her back to softball where she has since been selected to represent WA in the school girls side, as well as in the U18 WA softball team.

AMBER HINCHLIFFE

Amber represented KRS in tee-ball state championships, as well as playing a season of  softball. She went on to represent WA softball in U15 where she won the “Most promising Junior” award and as a result, was picked in the Australian team. Amber also collected a state MVP award in U16 the following year. 

Amber was selected to represent the state in the U23 team at just 17 years old, and has since represented the U23 side 3 times, as well as the WA women’s open side twice - all before she is 21 years old!

She has been invited to train with Olympians at the AIS and in 2024 was fortunate enough to be one of only 3 women invited to assist the women’s World Cup team in their preparations for the World Cup.
