TEE-BALL
Tee-Ball is FAST, which keeps the kids interested and alert. Games are time limited to one hour with full rotation of all positions.
Tee-Ball is FRESH. It's a natural forum to teach basic skills like throwing, hitting, catching and running: skills which the children can use later on to play whatever sport they like. Many players have gone on to represent the state and country in a variety of other ball sports.
Tee-Ball is FUN. Players bat at least three or four times each game, and will play in the field that many times as well. Sides change over every 10 minutes or so, which leaves no time for boredom!!
Tee-Ball is played from ages under 7 through to under 13 (School aged year 6/7's.) These age groups play against nearby clubs. Tee-Ball is an exciting sport for girls and boys as everyone gets to have a turn at all positions and batting regardless of ability.
Proudly, Kardinya Red Sox sends teams to compete in the TBAWA State Championships held over the March long weekend at Langely Park. All players are invited to tryout for these teams.
Tee-Ball is run by parents so EVERY parent needs to be prepared to help out in some way, whether it's coaching, umpiring or taking a turn to score, or burn a sausage!!!
